Michelle Hill has over 17 years’ experience in employee relations, recruitment, leadership, employee development and training, benefits, payroll, workers compensation, and acquisitions and mergers.
She and her team create policies and procedures, handbooks, and organizational strategies, as well as meet compliance requirements.
Michelle Hill serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In this role she is responsible for leading all facets of human resources and organizational effectiveness for American National Investments and for all people-related functions including: compensation and benefits, diversity, employee relations, labor relations, employee communications, HR policy, performance management, talent acquisition, talent management, and acquisitions and mergers.
A San Diego native, Hill has worked at ANI since 2014. Prior to joining the company, she managed Human Resources in California and Arizona in healthcare, financial, technology, and construction and development industries.
Hill has a Master’s of Science in Leadership from Grand Canyon University’s Ken Blanchard College of Business, as well as a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix, and Graduate Certificate in Human Resources from University of Phoenix.
She’s a member of the Society of Human Resource Management. Additionally, she’s a member of The Childhood Apraxia of Speech Association, for which she was awarded the Certificate of Fundraising achievement for Children with Apraxia in San Diego and is serving as the School Site Council Chairperson for Flying Hills Elementary School.
Hill loves being a mother. Her hobbies include swimming, crewel embroidery, and refinishing vintage furniture.
