Corporate Events Manager
With a professional motto of “Precise Coordination, Extraordinary Results,” Jarrod Zimpfer and his events team meticulously plan every event to the tastes of and needs of every client.
A New York City native, Zimpfer started working at ANI in 2014.
He’s a Business Communications graduate of Baruch College, City University of New York, and started his hospitality career in the late 90’s in New York City. He managed event venues and Zagat rated restaurants in the Financial District, and Lower Manhattan.
He relocated to San Diego and oversaw an event space and global wine bar and market in North Park before joining ANI, where he initially managed The Patio on Lamont and Saska’s Steak House, before spearheading The Patio Group’s events department.
An active member of The National Association of Catering and Events, and The San Diego Tourism Authority, Zimpfer also networks with members of International Live Events Association and ConVis, the San Diego Convention Center and Visitors Bureau. He has an advanced degree in Wines, Spirits, Education, Trust (WSET).
Zimpfer loves that ANI is a community driven company, including supporting local, neighborhood, and civil initiatives like clean beaches and waterways, and helping San Diego charities.
He’s a fan of Old World wines, travel, New York Times crosswords, linguistics, and pugs.
