Jarrod Moiles joined The Patio Group as Corporate Executive Chef in 2019 and is responsible for all culinary aspects, from menu enhancements to efficient kitchen operations with his team of chefs and restaurant professionals.
Throughout his career, Chef Jarrod has focused on bringing people together and creating new memories over food. He has done this by moving menu development forward with fresh concepts and innovation for patrons to enjoy, while creating a positive work environment for his staff. To him, a restaurant becomes great when an entire team works together.
Originally from rural Massachusetts, Chef Jarrod learned the importance of fresh ingredients and the rituals of food from a young age. He began his formal culinary training at Johnson & Wales University and quickly rose through the ranks of Massachusetts’ finest restaurants, earning his first Executive Chef role at only twenty-three years old.
Before joining The Patio Group, he worked as Executive Chef at Rancho Valencia where he helped the resort earn multiple honors, including AAA Five Diamond Hotel status and Four Diamond Restaurant recognition, as well as Forbes Five Star Hotel and Four Star Restaurant rankings. U.S. News and World Report ranked Rancho Valencia both the top California Resort and the top California Hotel during Chef Jarrod’s tenure.
When not in the kitchen, Chef Jarrod is a devoted husband and father, as well as a fitness enthusiast who enjoys the Southern California lifestyle.
