A 30 year veteran of the hospitality industry, Mr. LaGrange has extensive experience with branding and launching restaurants, catering/special events and the operation of mixed use developments with golf, hotel and residential components.
LaGrange most recently served as the Managing Director of The Grand Del Mar Resort & Spa. As a senior executive, LaGrange had direct responsibility for overall hotel operations including: food & beverage, special events, golf operations, sales, marketing and operational function of the Villas at The Grand Del Mar. Under his leadership, The Grand Del Mar was ranked by the readers of Conde Nast Traveler as the #5 resort in the U.S. in 2008. In addition, the resort’s signature restaurant, Addison, was awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award and the Mobil Five Star Award, a first for San Diego County.
As a member of the Manchester Executive Team, LaGrange also had direct responsibility for the Manchester Grand Hyatt, San Diego Marriott and a resort property in McCall, Idaho that is comprised of 77 suites and 250 residential lots with a private golf club. Prior to his role with Manchester Resorts, LaGrange held the role of Vice President of Operations for The Club at Pronghorn, a luxury golf community in Bend, Oregon where he was directly responsible for overall development & operations for this award winning development project.
LaGrange has also held the role of General Manager of the Santa Lucia Preserve on the Monterey Peninsula and General Manager for Rio Grill Restaurant in Carmel, CA.
