Andrea is a professional chef and award winning chocolatier. After graduating from California Culinary Academy San Francisco in 1999, Andrea came back to her home city of San Diego and has worked alongside some of San Diego’s Best Chefs.
In 2011, Andrea decided to turn her hobby of making chocolate truffles into a business. Andrea’s Truffles became very popular in San Diego’s local food scene; wholesaling truffles to restaurants, breweries, and small businesses throughout the City. The Patio on Lamont Street started giving truffles out for birthday desserts, and a strong working bond was formed between both businesses. In August 2014, CEO of The Patio Group, Gina Champion Cain and Andrea decided to partner on the company, giving it the stability it needed to grow, along with a brand new kitchen and a new look!
