Lifestyle 2000 at Music Village

Music VillageThis project is a 241,000 SF mixed-use, urban complex which will feature major entertainment and retail tenants, an upscale restaurant, seven levels of structured public parking for about 400 vehicles and 48 residential live/work lofts featuring views.

Urban Revival
Music Village is considered the centerpiece for the old core district's urban revival. The essenceof this project located between 5th and 6th Avenues, bordered by Broadway and "C" Streets, in the heart of downtown San Diego is simple: Create a regional destination, entertainment village by co-locating stellar entertainment and food venues to attract consumers with a specific lifestyle. Add to this covered, vertical parking and residential live/work lofts, and a solid mixed-use project is created that appeals to work and leisure life.

The project is also designed to offer large crowds of people that visit the Gaslamp and Financial Districts a convenient and safe place to enjoy the benefits of urban living. Furthermore, the project will add to the recovery of the downtown core by developing a sufficiently strong concept that appeals to local inhabitants and tourists alike. In fact, the concept acts as an early stage draw that attracts people from the suburbs, promotes local foot traffic and positive national attention from other cities that seek to implement entertainment venues downtown. Lifestyle 2000 at Music Village also promotes synergy with other entertainment and shopping venues and, therefore, creates a magnet center that increases sales for all businesses in the area.

Restoration
Music Village's core elements center on the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of adjacent vintage commercial buildings, the Woolworth Building and the J. Jessop & Sons Building, a designated local historic building.
