Cris O. Torres is the Controller for American National Investments, Inc. Cris is accountable for all the accounting functions of the ANI Real Estate Services Division. Cris’ major responsibility is to set up accounting and lease records for ANI’s new clients. His responsibilities also includes overseeing the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Department, generating month-end and year-end financials, formulating budgets, and reconciling year-end common area expenses.
Cris has been in the industry since 1998. Prior to joining ANI, Cris was one of Burnham Real Estate’s finest Project Accountants. His portfolio consists of neighborhood retail stores, community shopping centers, NNN office buildings, industrial, bio tech companies and multi-family residential properties. His experience is taken from small development businesses to notable companies such as GE Capital Real Estate, Slough Estates and Sharp Hospitals.
Cris received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from the University of San Diego and intends to pursue a Master Degree in Real Estate.
